About

Buy your freedom in the arena.

Why this site exists

Most affiliate marketing content online is one of three things: a sales pitch wearing the costume of a review, an outdated rehash of someone else’s outdated rehash, or theory written by people who’ve never run a profitable campaign.

Marketing Gladiators is the alternative. Independent reviews of affiliate programs and tools, written by operators who have skin in the game. No paid placements. No «best of 2024» listicles that haven’t been touched since 2021. No fluff designed to keep you on the page for the ad impression.

What we cover

  • Affiliate programs — networks, operators, direct advertisers. Commission models, payout terms, GEO availability, real payout reliability.
  • Tools — trackers, page builders, email platforms, analytics. Pricing, free-trial reality, what they’re actually good for.
  • The Academy — free guides and breakdowns for affiliates, operators, and affiliate managers. Foundational concepts and actionable playbooks.

Editorial standards

Every review on this site follows these rules:

  • We test it. If we review a program, we have run traffic to it or have direct first-hand information from an operator who has.
  • We disclose everything. If a link is affiliate, you’ll see the disclosure. If we have a relationship beyond affiliate, we say so.
  • We say no. Programs and tools that don’t perform get a «skip it» rating or no coverage. We don’t pad the catalog with mediocre options to hit a content target.
  • We update. When a program changes its terms or a tool gets worse, the review gets updated and dated.

How we make money

Affiliate commissions when you sign up to a program or tool through a link on the site. That’s it. The content stays free because the affiliate model funds it — and you get something useful out of it (the program, the tool) regardless of whether we earn from your click.

Reviews are not paid placements. Coverage is not for sale. If you see an affiliate link, it’s because the underlying program or tool earned its spot.

Who’s behind this

Chris W — affiliate marketer and operator. Background in performance traffic, tracking, and program management across multiple verticals. The site exists because the resource I wanted to read when I was starting didn’t exist, and the ones that did mostly lied.

The manifesto

Affiliate marketing is a craft. You learn it by doing it, losing money, figuring out what works, and doing more of that. The arena is the ad account, the landing page, the offer test, the email sequence. You buy your freedom one profitable campaign at a time.
